CSA America's Linking Policy

INBOUND Linking Policy Statement:

Links to CSA America Web site will be allowed subject to the following criteria:

  • Principles concerning hyperlinking to CSA America Web site
    1-1.
    CSA Group supports and encourages the use of hyperlinks from other sites directing user to CSA's Web sites.
  • General rules about Hyperlinking to CSA America Web site from external Web sites
If you plan to link to our Web site, please follow the guidelines below:
  • You have to ask for permission to link directly to the home page of CSA America Web site. We will authorize the request, after analyzing your Web site.
  • Even if we authorize you to create a link to our home page, NEVER create a deep hyperlink (a link to another page other than the home page) without contacting us first. Same applies to inline or embedded links (when it's not transparent to the end user that a link is established between the two Web sites).
  • The framing technology is not accepted to link to our Web site. If this is the only option you have, please contact our Webmaster at webmaster@csagroup.org to discuss.
Permissions should be requested to the Webmaster at webmaster@csagroup.org.

When linking to CSA America Web site, please respect the following:

  • Should not imply that CSA America is endorsing the third-party or its products and services.
  • Should not imply an affiliation or partnership between the third-party and CSA America that does not exist.
  • Should not use logos, trademarks, slogans or any CSA America marks in the link without our permission.
  • Should not use any information about CSA America into its "metatags" or other information used by search engines or other information location tools to identify and select sites, without CSA America's express permission.
