Interested in becoming a Green Globes Assessor?
You will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
Description of the Minimally Qualified Candidate:
Basic understanding, knowledge, and decision-making skills relevant to design, material selection, construction, building science and technology, maintenance and operational practices that result in high-performance buildings related to energy, water, resources, project management, site, indoor environmental quality, and emissions. Certification does not constitute commissioning.
What Body of Knowledge does this person possess?
- Key concepts and intents of the seven sections in the standards.
- Judgment and decision making around trade-offs encountered in design, construction, maintenance, and operation of a building.
- Awareness of consequences driven by decisions (minimize unintended consequences).
- Awareness and knowledge of current state-of-the-art, emerging trends and changes in the industry.
Applicant’s Pre-requisites:
- Licensed Architect or Licensed Engineer,
- 16 hours Green Globes™ training recommended,
- agree to comply with GBI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct,
- Sign NDA.
