CSA America, Inc. is committed to the safety and performance of products and services that affect us everyday. We test and certify many of the products sold at your favorite retailer for safe use in your home. With over 75 years in standards development, CSA America Inc. brings a balanced committee of experts to the table and to the testing lab to assure your product will perform to the standards demanded by retailers and regulators. Our standards are readily accepted and applied in the marketplace. Our knowledgeable staff administers technical committees established to develop and maintain standards. We also work with other governments and standards organizations to harmonize standards from other countries for easy and efficient entry into the global marketplace. Currently CSA America administers 40 committees, subcommittees and working groups that develop safety and design standards for gas appliances and related accessories.
